Christianity, Conflict And the Soul Of The Nation

Conflict. Reconciliation. Peace.

Dear Friend,

Managing conflict can be a difficult process, especially in churches. 'A Place For Hope' seeks to help those in Scotland establish a live network of people committed to the work of peacemaking and reconciliation.

Their first step has been to arrange a conference in Aviemore this coming November with six major keynote speakers and over 50 workshops.

Whether you are seeking help in managing conflict, you see the significance of peacemaking in society today, or you just want to understand more about it, then this conference is for you.

15–18 November 2009

The conference will take place in the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort, Aviemore from 6pm on Sunday 15th to 1pm on Wednesday 18th November 2009. You can book online for the conference to secure your place immediately. You can also read more about the workshops, programme speakers and contributors. Workshops will include:

  • mediation skills and processes
  • hearing and listening
  • self-awareness and self-understanding
  • understanding persons and personality
  • managing change
  • inner wholeness and spiritual peace
